Sylhet Technical Training Center was established in 2005 on a 1.92 acre (approximately) site in a secluded and noise free environment under the Sylhet City Corporation under the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training to turn the country's manpower into human resources in line with the real needs of Bangladesh and the outside world. 01 building with 3 storeys, 02 houses with 01 floor for principal and vice president, 01 car with 01 storey car garage, 01 with 01 storey sub station, total number of buildings = 05 Number of office rooms = 06, number of classrooms = 08, number of workshops = 08, Science laboratory = 01 and library = 01. To the east of the academic building is a medium-sized playground. It is bounded on the north by Surma River, on the south by Sylhet-Zakiganj Road, on the east by Fire Service Office and on the west by Sylhet Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
